Get ready to move! Join Zoey Anderson for a high-energy, dynamic and sassy 90-minute Ballroom/Latin Fusion masterclass. Explore the Latin style of Cha-Cha, break down its technique and rhythms, and put it all together in a fun partner-inspired performance combination.

No partner or previous ballroom experience required! All levels are welcome. Wear comfortable dance attire, or have some fun with a skirt and ballroom shoes (optional).

A Little About Zoey Anderson
Originally from Utah, Zoey is an accomplished dancer and former National Smooth Ballroom Champion. She holds a BFA in Ballet from Marymount Manhattan College and spent 10 years performing internationally with Parsons Dance Company. A 2018 Bessie Award nominee and recipient of the 2019 Clive Barnes Dance Artist Award, Zoey has performed on prestigious stages around the world. She is currently in her second season with Ballet Jazz Montréal.

This masterclass is part of the Compagnie de danse contemporaine du Québec Masterclass Series, but everyone is welcome! You do not need to be a CDCQ dancer or member of the Préville Dance Academy to participate.

Refine your technique and revisit the foundations of ballet in this special Halloween Edition Ballet Fundamentals masterclass led by Raphaël Bouchard, recently retired Principal Dancer with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens.

Designed for dancers of mixed levels, this 90-minute masterclass will focus on alignment, placement, musicality, and the essential principles that support strong, confident dancing. Whether you’re looking to fine-tune your technique or strengthen your foundations, this is a great opportunity to learn from one of Canada’s most accomplished ballet artists in a supportive and inspiring environment.

And in the spirit of Halloween, we’re adding a little fun! The studio will have a Halloween vibe, and dancers are encouraged to come dressed in costume. We’ll even award a prize for the best costume!
