After School Activities
For Saint-LamBert Elementary Students

In partnership with Saint-Lambert Elementary, the Préville Fine Arts Centre is pleased to once again offer after-school activities for the 2025-2026 school year!
Activities take place at the Saint-Lambert United Church, on Mercille Street, one block from the school. Activities are taught by the Préville Fine Arts Centre’s professional artists and will run once per week. Children will be escorted from the school to the church by Préville teachers.
Pick-up will be at Saint-Lambert United Church at 5pm.
ACTIVITIES FOR PRE-KINDERGARTEN TO GRADE 3
**This class runs for 30 weeks! (Fall, Winter and Spring sessions).**
Join at any time, price will be pro-rated during registration. Classes resume Jan. 13th. Students who registered for the Fall session do not need to re-register.
In this class, young dancers build confidence and develop social skills while learning the fundamentals of Ballet! This class enables the dancers to express their love for movement and music in a fun and creative environment. No experience necessary!
Participants will have the time to develop some lasting skills in dance. It will also give students enough time to be prepared to participate in the Préville Dance Academy year-end show in May, if they so desire! The year-end show is a production on stage that showcases performances from the dance classes at Préville. Participation in the show is optional, and details regarding show registration and costume costs will be shared in January for those who are interested!
GROUP: Pre-K to Kindergarten (Ages 4-5)
DAY & TIME: Tuesdays 4-5pm
PLACE: St-Lambert United Church (children are escorted to the church)

PRICE: $310.25 (17 weeks winter/spring, works out to $18.25 per class)

WINTER session, 7 weeks. Starts Jan. 15th.
In this fun and engaging drawing class, kids will explore their creativity while learning the basics of line, shape, shading, and perspective. Each week, young artists will experiment with different drawing techniques and materials as they bring their ideas to life on paper. Perfect for beginners and budding illustrators alike—no experience needed!
This class is taught in FRENCH.
GROUP: K to Grade 2
DAY & TIME: Thursdays 4-5pm
PLACE: St-Lambert United Church (children are escorted to the church)

PRICE: $129.50 (7 weeks – Winter session, works out to $18.50 per class)
ACTIVITES FOR GRADE 3 TO GRADE 6
WINTER session, 7 weeks. Starts Jan. 13th.
Young artists will exercise their creativity to the fullest using a variety of media and techniques. All materials are included in the price.
GROUP: Grade 3 to Grade 6

Dancers learn foundational hip-hop steps through choreography and freestyle that also incorporates basic elements of popping. Explore groove, rhythm and coordination while being introduced to the roots of hip-hop culture. Perfect for dancers who love to move and express themselves!

Any loose, comfortable clothing
Athletic shoes with non-marking soles are required
TAX CREDIT FOR CHILDREN’S ARTISTIC ACTIVITIES
Did you know that parents have access to a tax credit for children’s artistic activities from the provincial government. The credit for children’s artistic activities allows you to claim eligible expenses, up to $500 per year for each child. We invite you to keep the registration receipt for your activity. It will be useful for your tax return. You can also find your receipts in Amilia.
Payments
Payment is made by credit card online via Amilia.
As a registered charity, our services are exempt from all sales tax. If you do not already have an Amilia account, you will need to create one. Please note, payments are not made through the school.
A non-refundable $15 administration fee will be automatically added to each registration transaction.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you are unable to continue taking the class, please contact the Préville Fine Arts Centre by email. If a student has attended more than 2 classes, the course is not refundable. Please note, there will be no refunds for classes missed during the session.
Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The Préville Fine Arts Centre reserves the right to cancel or make changes to classes due to enrolment or teacher availability.
