The Music Explorations classes are an excellent way for musicians of all levels to unlock or un-block their creative potential. Classes are designed to cultivate freedom in playing, your ear for listening and your confidence in sharing your musical voice with others. Have fun in a non-judgemental class with encouraging experts leading the way.
This voice exploration class is based on the principles of the Bill of Musical Rights by David Darling: 1) There are as many ways to make music as there are people; 2) The human voice is the most natural and powerful vehicle for musical self-expression; and 3) There are no unmusical people, only those with no musical experience. Open to all ages, this class will encourage students to learn and become comfortable with musical concepts like rhythm, melody, and improvisation, with a focus on using the voice as a tool of expression and creativity.
